Meet Sumiyah

I am a Registered Mental Health Nurse and qualified therapist with over ten years of experience supporting adults through a range of emotional and psychological challenges, including anxiety, stress, low mood, burnout, trauma, and life transitions.

My career began in the UK’s public healthcare system, where I worked across specialist mental health services supporting individuals with complex needs. These experiences have shaped a compassionate, culturally aware, and evidence-based approach to therapy, focused on helping people better understand themselves and develop practical tools for lasting change.

Alongside my mental health training, I also have a background in pharmacy. This allows me to take a holistic view of wellbeing, recognising the connection between physical health, lifestyle, and emotional balance when supporting long-term resilience.

My Mission

I believe therapy should feel as natural and valued as taking care of your physical health. Looking after your mental wellbeing is not a luxury, it is an essential part of living well.

Life brings change, uncertainty, and challenges that can affect how we think, feel, and cope. While we cannot always control what happens to us, we can learn new ways to respond, reflect, and grow.

My aim is to make therapy accessible, flexible, and free from unnecessary barriers. Whether you attend one session or choose longer-term support, you will be met with a space that is safe, professional, and tailored to you.
